Reassembly rescue! 🕷️ Hot Toys Venom (Marvel's Spider-Man 2, VGM59) — both arms detached, nothing broken. Shoulder sockets recede when you push, so ball joints won't seat. I stabilized each socket with tools and seated both arms after several tries. Skill, patience, right tools — no parts replaced, display-ready! 🛠️

The repair
This Hot Toys Venom came in for repair. Client report: both arms detached from the body; no broken parts, unable to reattach at home. Issue: arm sockets in the torso are movable. Work included when pressing the ball joint into the body, the socket recesses and the ball joint stud is not long enough to engage before the socket moves away. Repair: use tools to hold/stabilise each socket in the body while aligning and pressing the ball joint; multiple attempts per arm until both joints seated successfully. No replacement parts; reassembly only.

Hot Toys Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Venom 1/6th scale figure (VGM59) was produced for the PlayStation game tie-in. The sculpt is a bulky in-game likeness (~53 cm at 1/6 scale) with textured skin, white chest and back emblems, three interchangeable portrait heads, and symbiote tendril accessories. Figures in this line use PVC and ABS with tailored fabric suit parts, ball-jointed shoulders and hips, and a display base in the box set. Maker stamps and the character card note the film and product code.
