Power Rangers Dino Megazord RC — controller board, switches, and cable
Power Rangers Dino Megazord RC
The Dino Megazord RC unit had control faults traced to the handset and main board. We replaced the controller circuit board, fitted a new control switch, and renewed the control cable so the zord responds reliably again.
Work in progress
The repair
The Megazord's radio handset and internal controller path were failing — intermittent response and dead sectors pointed to worn switches and a damaged control cable rather than only the drivetrain. We replaced the controller circuit board, installed a fresh controller switch where the original had failed, and replaced the control cable end-to-end. After reassembly and testing, the RC link was stable across the full stick travel.
About this item
Power Rangers Dino Megazord RC toys come from the long-running licensed Power Rangers product ecosystem tied to Bandai-era and later reissue cycles. Dino-themed Megazord variants were strongest in the 1990s and 2000s collector memory, with radio-control spin-offs appearing in multiple regional toy lines. Most units use injection-molded ABS/PVC body parts, simple geared drivetrains, and a battery-powered RC control board.
