Woody’s pull string and battery contacts both failed. We repaired the spring box mechanism and the corroded contacts so the doll speaks reliably again.

The repair
This Woody pull-string doll would not trigger the sound box, and the battery path was corroded. We repaired the spring mechanism in the pull-string housing and cleaned or replaced corroded battery contacts so voice and power work together again.
