Honey-brown bunny — deep clean and tear repair
Vintage honey-brown plush bunny
A well-loved honey-brown plush bunny, over thirty years old, came in tired and torn. We deep cleaned the pile, repaired tears and holes, and restuffed the body so it sits soft and even again.
Work in progress
The repair
The bunny needed a full refresh after decades of cuddling. The plush had picked up soil and matting, and the fabric had tears and holes at the seams and stress points. We deep cleaned the fur and body, repaired the torn areas with matched stitching, then restuffed for an even fill and a natural sitting pose.
About this item
This honey-brown and white plush rabbit is a vintage nursery-style bunny from the late 1980s or early 1990s — the era when mass-market gift plush often used long-pile polyester fur, bead eyes, a moulded nose, and oversized feet with stitched toe pads. The sitting pose, tan outer fur, white muzzle and inner ears, and three brown pads on each white foot are typical of import plush lines from that period (often Korea-made). A fabric care label on this example notes washable construction. Without a readable maker stamp, identify it by size, fur colour, paw layout, and label style rather than a single modern brand SKU.
