Vintage white terry plush puppy
A well-loved white terry-cloth puppy plush, a companion for more than twenty years, came in flat and grubby with a failing nose, worn eyes, thin fabric, and small tears. We deep cleaned the pile, restuffed the body, repaired and repainted the nose, replaced the eyes, mended tears, and reinforced the thinning skin.

The repair
This puppy had been a cuddly companion for more than twenty years, so the white terry pile was dingy and matted, the fill had compressed, and the shell fabric had worn thin — especially around the muzzle and paws. The nose area had torn fabric and a scuffed nose that needed repair and repaint, the old eyes were dull and due for replacement, and there were minor tears at stress points. We deep cleaned the plush, restuffed for an even shape, rebuilt the fabric around the nose, repaired and repainted the nose, fitted new eyes, closed the tears with matched stitching, and reinforced the thinning areas so the skin holds up for more cuddles.
