This standing Victorian-style Santa had a collapsed support — the original flimsy plastic sheet base was cracked and failing. We rebuilt a sturdy internal base, tidied the costume and fill, deep cleaned, and stood him tall again for display.

The repair
Santa arrived with the lower support failing — the original thin amber plastic sheet former under the red skirt had cracked and torn, so the costume and fill could not hold shape. We removed the damaged plastic, rebuilt a stronger curved support base to replace that flimsy sheet, tidied the batting and costume layers, deep cleaned the figure, and stitched the fabric closed over the new former so he stands evenly again.
